Privacy Policy — Discussly

1. Who we are

Discussly is operated by Digital Business Concept (EI), Centre d’Affaires Reims-Bezannes, 7 rue Pierre Salmon, 51430 Bezannes, France (“we”, “us”, “Discussly”). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@discussly.ai.

2. What we collect

Early access: your email address, and optionally your name and website URL if you choose to provide them.
Button configuration (optional): if you choose to save it, the settings you build in the configurator (language, goal, selected assistants, color, shape and related preferences) and the website you enter, so we can prepare your personalized button for launch.
Contact: your email address and the content of your message.
Technical data: when you visit the site, limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed) may be processed by our hosting and analytics providers for security and audience measurement.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and you should not send any to us.

3. Why we use it and our legal bases

To add you to the early-access list and tell you about launch and closely related updates — legal basis: your consent.
To prepare your personalized button, where you opt in to saving your configuration — legal basis: your consent.
To respond to your messages — legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and where relevant, steps taken at your request before any contract.
To keep the site secure and measure audience — legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website; where required, your consent (for non-essential cookies).

4. How we contact you

If you join early access, we’ll email you about Discussly’s launch and closely related news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. We never sell or rent your data.

5. Who has access

Your data is accessible to us and to the providers that help us run the site and send emails (such as Google Ireland Limited for hosting, Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly analytics, and Brevo for email delivery). They act as our processors under contract and may only use your data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. How long we keep it

Early-access data: until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Contact data: for as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards.
Technical logs: a limited period in line with our providers’ standard retention.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out beforehand). To exercise any of these, contact hello@discussly.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In France this is the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

9. Cookies

The site uses the essential cookies needed to function. If we use non-essential cookies (such as analytics), we ask for your consent first and you can change your choice at any time.

10. Changes to this policy

As Discussly moves from pre-launch to launch, we will update this policy to reflect new processing (such as accounts and the embeddable button). We’ll post the updated version here with a new date.
